OLD ENGLISH PORK SAUSAGES

750 g (1½ lb.) minced pork

Old English Pork Sauseges BBQ Recipe

250 g (8 oz.) minced veal

Salt, Pepper

1/4 tea spoon nutmeg

1/4 tea spoon coriander

1/4 tea spoon ground ginger

1 cup packaged dry breadcrumbs

½ cup water

30 g (1 oz.) butter

2 tablespoons oil

Flour

Combine into a bowl the minced pork and veal.

Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, coriander, ginger, breadcrumbs and water and mix well.

Form the mixture into sausage shapes approximately 8cm (3 in ) in length and coat sausages well with flour.

Heat butter and oil in large frying pan over medium heat.

Add the sausages to pan and cook until golden brown (make sure oil is not too hot or sausages will brown before they are cooked through).

Remove sausages from pan and drain.

Makes approximately 12 sausages.
